Depay Joins Corinthians After the End of Atlético Deal
Memphis Depay has joined Corinthians after terminating his contract with Atlético Madrid.
The Dutch forward made the move to Brazil on a free transfer, and he has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the club.
Depay has been linked with a move to Corinthians for several weeks, and he has now finally completed the switch.
The 28-year-old has been capped 86 times by the Netherlands and has scored 43 goals for his country.
He has also played for Manchester United, PSV Eindhoven, and Lyon during his career.
Corinthians are hoping that Depay can help them to win their first Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A title since 2017.
The club is currently second in the standings, three points behind leaders Palmeiras.
Depay is expected to make his debut for Corinthians in the next few weeks.
